Despite falling behind initially, Mohammed Mubarak equalized with a penalty.
The match featured intense, end-to-end action, with Ghana’s goalkeeper making crucial saves to maintain the deadlock.
With the score tied at the end of regulation time, the game moved into extra time. Mubarak struck early in the extra period, giving Ghana the lead for the first time. The Black Challenge defended this lead tenaciously, ultimately securing the victory.

This win not only marks Ghana’s successful defence of their title, having won the previous edition in Tanzania but also guarantees their place in the 2026 World Amputee Football World Cup in Panama.
