[Mobile Reporter Nam Nan-woo] On the 3rd, Eumseong-gun awarded commendation plaques at the county office to two people of great merit who contributed to the spread of sharing culture by practicing love and sharing for neighbors.
Recipients of merit are selected from those who faithfully carry out sharing practices for neighbors in need or who serve as an example to others through dedicated sharing practices.

The military selected Semo Co., Ltd. (Co-CEOs Ki-cheol Kang and Ho-eun Hwang) and Seolseong Housing Co. (CEO Jae-cheon Yoo), which have been making large-scale donations consistently for more than two years, as recipients of a commendation for merit in sharing practice in the first half of 2024.
Semo Co., Ltd. is a health functional food production company located in Maengdong-myeon that is recognized not only domestically but also internationally. It has been participating in fundraising activities for the Community Chest of Korea’s Hope Sharing Campaign and has been continuously making donations.
In addition, Seolseong Housing Co., Ltd., a construction materials and interior design company located in Eumseong-eup, takes the lead in creating a culture of sharing by donating donations to help neighbors for underprivileged children in the area every year.

County Governor Cho Byeong-ok said, “I would like to express my sincere gratitude to those who have taken the lead in practicing warm good deeds for the development of the local community,” and added, “I would also like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all the donors who consistently donate every year.”
He continued, “We will look more carefully to see if there are any neighbors in need who are marginalized around us, and we will do our best to embrace them.”
Meanwhile, donations are processed through the Chungbuk Community Chest of Korea and used for local welfare projects and neighbors in need. The military plans to select and award those who have contributed to sharing in the second half of the year as well.
