Ghanaian budding rapper, Boricist has disclosed that his famous nickname, The Macho Rapper was given to him by musician Wanluv The Kubolor.
Speaking on the 3FM Drive on Wednesday, he said he used to be called Okamafour and changed it to Okamabom after which he got the name Macho Rapper.
He noted that the name came about during his usual rap battle sometime back at Bless The Mic concert in Osu.

According to him, Wanluv The Kubolor called him after the show and urged him to use the name since he is a rapper and has a Macho physique.
“The first time I went to the gym the comment were good, people were cheering me up so I changed the name from Okamafuor to Okamabom then to the Macho Rapper which was given to me by Wanluv the Kubolor.
“One day I was on the stage rapping at Osu and when the show was done Kubolor called me and said its true you are a macho guy and a rapper so just be real and use the name and ever since Macho Rapper has been the name,” he told Chrystal Kwame-Aryee.
