Iconic Wrestlemania entertainer, Hulk Hogan who captivated wrestling fans in the 1980s and ’90s, has declared his full support for Donald Trump ahead of the elections.
Making a surprising appearance at the Republican National Convention on Thursday night, Hogan delivered an energetic and captivating speech urging voters to choose Trump.
Speaking just before Donald Trump was set to accept the party’s nomination, Hulk Hogan referred to Trump as his “hero” and a “gladiator.”
Hogan tore off his shirt in a dramatic manner reminiscent of his wrestling days while giving his speech. This drew an enthusiastic response from the crowd.
“What happened last week when they took a shot at my hero and tried to kill the next President of the United States?” Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, said.
“Enough was enough. Run wild, brother. Let Trump-a-mania rule again,” he added.
This comes less than a week after an assassination attempt on Trump at a rally in Pennsylvania.
Revealing a branded Trump shirt underneath his torn attire, Hogan explained that Trump’s assassination attempt encourgaed him to speak out.
“I tried to stay out of politics, but after everything that’s happened to our country over the past four years and everything that happened last weekend, I can no longer stay silent,” he said.

Reflecting on his career, Hogan added, “Over my career, I’ve been in the ring with some of the biggest, baddest dudes on the planet. Donald Trump is the toughest of them all. They’ve thrown everything at Donald Trump, all the investigations, the impeachments, the court cases, and he’s still standing and kicking their butts.”
The convention also featured speakers like Linda McMahon, matriarch of the wrestling empire, and UFC President Dana White.
Trump has a longstanding connection with professional wrestling, having been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013.
In his acceptance speech, he said, “I consider this to be my greatest honor of all.”
Trump has participated in several combat sporting events over the years, including the “Battle of the Billionaires” at WWE’s WrestleMania in 2007, where he took down Vince McMahon, co-founder of WWE.
