Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko have booked their places in the Round of 32 of the 2024/25 MTN FA Cup after securing impressive victories in their respective matches.
Asante Kotoko defeated Future Stars 2-0 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, thanks to a second-half brace from Albert Amoah.
After a goalless first half, Amoah broke the deadlock in the 65th minute, finishing off a precise through ball from Dauda Saaka.
He sealed the win in the 86th minute with a thunderous strike into the top corner.
Meanwhile, in Accra, Hearts of Oak cruised past Immigration FC with a commanding 4-0 win. A brace from Mawuli Wayo, and goals from Martin Karikari, and Stephen Appiah Asare ensured a comfortable progression for the Phobians.
Other teams advancing to the Round of 32 include King Faisal, Nations FC, Dreams FC, FC Nania, Golden Kick, and Danbort FC.
