Chelsea’s Cole Palmer stole the show at Stamford Bridge as he netted four goals to lead his team to a resounding 6-0 victory over Everton in the Premier League.

The 21-year-old displayed his prowess early in the game, opening the scoring in the 13th minute with a sublime curling strike into the bottom corner. He quickly followed up with a header five minutes later, capitalising on a rebound to double Chelsea’s lead.

Palmer completed his hat-trick in spectacular fashion midway through the first half, intercepting a poor pass from Everton keeper Jordan Pickford and lobbing the ball into the net from 40 yards out.

Teammate Nicolas Jackson joined the goal-scoring spree just before halftime, volleying in a cross from Marc Cucurella to extend Chelsea’s lead.

Palmer continued to dominate in the second half, converting a penalty in the 63rd minute to secure his fourth goal of the match. Substitute Alfie Gilchrist put the finishing touches on Chelsea’s victory with a goal in the 90th minute.

The win extends Chelsea’s unbeaten run in the Premier League to eight matches, keeping them within reach of seventh-placed Manchester United in the race for European qualification.

For Palmer, it’s his second consecutive hattrick having scored three against Manchester United in their previous game at Stamford Bridge.

He is now joint top-scorer with 20 goals together with Manchester City’s Erling Haaland.

Meanwhile, Everton endured a difficult outing in their first match since receiving a two-point deduction for a second breach of Premier League financial rules. The loss leaves them in 16th place, just two points above the relegation zone.

Palmer’s outstanding performance highlights Chelsea’s attacking prowess and strengthens their aspirations for European qualification as the Premier League season progresses.
