President John Dramani Mahama has appointed distinguished legal practitioner Anatu Anne Seidu Bogobiri Esq as the new Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA).

Madam Bogobiri is a seasoned lawyer with over 26 years of professional experience. She began her career at the erstwhile Value Added Tax (VAT) Service and rose through the ranks to serve in the Legal Department of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).

Beyond her legal expertise, Madam Bogobiri has been deeply involved in people management and democratic processes. She has gained practical electoral experience as the Executive Director of the African Electoral Institute (AEI).

Her leadership roles extend to organized labor as well, having served as the Divisional Union Vice Chairperson of the Public Services Workers Union (PSWU). She is also a prominent member of the Law Society of Ghana (LSG), where she serves as the Women’s Commissioner. Additionally, she holds positions as the Treasurer and Media Liaison of Lawyers in Search of Democracy (LINSOD), further showcasing her commitment to legal advocacy and democratic governance.

Her appointment to the NHIA is expected to bring a wealth of expertise, leadership, and dedication to advancing Ghana’s national health insurance agenda.
