[Mobile Reporter Nam Nan-woo] Boram Middle School (Principal Kim Jin-seong, hereinafter referred to as Boram Middle School) held an international exchange event with Taiwan’s Shuang-Xi High School and Shiding High School on May 24th.
As an international exchange cooperation school, Boram Middle School has maintained a relationship with Taiwanese schools for 5 years since 2020, and this exchange event was especially meaningful as 29 teachers and student representatives from Taiwanese schools visited in person.

This exchange event focuses on various student activities such as ▲ school tour and introduction ▲ gift exchange ▲ mini concert (exchange of student performances and Taiwanese cultural performances) ▲ painting with light ▲ group rope jumping ▲ school lunch menu production project ▲ Taiwan-Korea cultural exchange class. Filled with class programs.
In particular, the students of the Taiwan International Exchange Event Student Promotion Committee, led by students from Boram Middle School’s International Exchange Club, took the lead in preparing the event, including producing joint class presentation materials, writing scripts, and communicating in English and Chinese. In the process, students were encouraged to develop communication skills. It was a great opportunity to develop proactive problem-solving skills, understand each country’s culture, and become a global citizen.

Principal Kim Jin-seong said, “I hope that this exchange activity will be a valuable time for students to understand each other’s culture and grow uprightly with infinite possibilities as global citizens.” He added, “We will do our best to help our students grow into global citizens in the future.” “We will work harder to ensure that school education prepares for the future.”
Meanwhile, since 2020, when Boram Middle School was selected as an international exchange cooperation school, we have been focusing on educating students as global citizens by continuously interacting with overseas schools such as Taiwan, Indonesia, and Turkey.Nam Nan-woo, Mobile Reporter Reporternamwoo97@hanmail.net
