Vice Chairperson Kim Hyeon-ok proposed the enactment of the “Ordinance on the Promotion of Donation of Leftover Meals from School Meals at the Sejong Special Self-Governing City Office of Education,” allowing leftover meals generated from school meals in Sejong City to be donated in accordance with the “Act on the Act on Promotion of Donations of Food, etc.” We wanted to contribute to environmental protection and the spread of sharing culture in the region.

In addition, by proposing the enactment of the “Ordinance on Fire Prevention and Safety Facility Support in Electric Vehicle Parking Areas in Sejong Special Self-Governing City,” the necessary matters for preventing fires in electric vehicle parking areas and supporting related safety facilities in Sejong Special Self-Governing City have been established. Commissioner Kim Hak-seo proposed the revision of the “Partial Amendment Ordinance on the Establishment and Operation of the Sejong Special Self-Governing City Volunteer Fire Department” by deleting the seal certificate from the items to be confirmed by officials in charge of funerals and bereaved family compensation, thus minimizing the inconvenience to citizens by simplifying unnecessary procedures and documents. did.

In addition, during the review of the ordinance, opinions that would be helpful in setting the direction of implementation were repeatedly presented. Regarding the ordinance on activating leftover meal donations for school meals, Commissioner Hong Na-young said, “Students’ meals should not be neglected for the sake of donation,” and suggested that efforts be made to ensure that both the quality of school meals and leftover meal donations are compatible.
