The policy purchase system is a system that discovers and introduces creative opinions or designs as new policies for the development of economic education policies. Last February, the policy proposal platform ‘e-Policy Market (www.epolicymarket.goe.go.kr)’ was opened to provide permanent policy proposals and to run a contest proposal in which the Superintendent of Education designates tasks and invites public proposals.

The Provincial Office of Education plans to conduct a contest for proposals related to major Gyeonggi education policies to discover excellent educational policies and educational contents and utilize them immediately in the field.

Depending on the topic, students, parents, faculty, and residents can participate in the policy purchase system contest proposal. How to participate: ▲Sign up as a member of the e-Policy Market ▲Complete and submit a proposal and contest form.

The topics for the first half of the year include ▲development of digital citizen education class content ▲development of a student-led reading program ▲development of a school work support automation program. In the second half of the year, we plan to operate under the themes of shared schools, strengthening basic academic skills, lifelong education, entrepreneurship education, educational activity protection system, and microlearning content development.

The final decision on whether to adopt the public offering proposal will be made after review by the Policy Purchase Review Committee, and the adoption proposal will be announced in the e-Policy Marketplace notice. Those who propose adoption are awarded certificates and prize money according to their level.

Seo Hye-jeong, policy planning officer at the Provincial Office of Education, said, “We ask you to show interest and actively participate in the contest proposals that are held on a regular basis so that good policy ideas and educational content in the field can be used as economic education policies through the policy purchase system.”

Meanwhile, in the public offering held in December last year, six proposals were adopted and a prize of 7.5 million won was paid. Among the adoption proposals, improvement of the teaching and learning function of the high learning platform and short form video of the policy purchase system were reflected in the policy.
