The head pastor and founder of the Action Chapel International, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Willams has shared his experience as a young pastor.
He recalled that during his days as a young preacher, he was anointed with the spirit and casted out demons with several manifestations taking place.
Archbishop Duncan-Williams said as young as he was back then, he “felt very powerful” for the miracles and spiritual happenings taking credits for himself.
“I remember when it began [ ministry]. Most of the time, some of the bishops would tell you, there will be all kinds of manifestations in the church. Demons will be screaming and shouting.
“When I was a young preacher, I used to feel very good about that. I used to feel Charlie I’m powerful. You see how the demons are reacting and crying and I will say ushers carry them and bring them, run and I used to feel very powerful until the Lord dealt with me and I realized that hey hey hey it is not because of your anointing, it is the name of Jesus, it is the presence of Jesus,” he told his congregation in a sermon on May 26.
The Archbishop prayed for divine intervention for the minute blessings from God which individual are blinded about.
“And there are little things that we take credit for and its prideful, but we don’t even know it. May God forgive us,” he added.
