[Mobile Reporter Lee Jong-seop] Five projects, including the rural center revitalization project, will be implemented with government funds to improve the residential environment at the village level, eliminate the gap between towns and villages, and create an expanded residential living area.

Representative Lim Ho-seon of the Democratic Party of Korea (Jeungpyeong, Jincheon, and Eumseong-gun) announced on the 4th that Jeungpyeong-gun was selected for the “2024 Rural Agreement Contest,” a government-funded project of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
The Rural Agreement is a project in which the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs invests government funds after reviewing the rural development plans established by local governments to revitalize rural living areas.
Accordingly, Jeungpyeong-gun will promote projects such as the rural center revitalization project, seed business foundation construction project, dietary education support project, Yeontan-ri rural space maintenance project, and Gwangdeok 2-ri vulnerable area living conditions improvement project by 2029.
Rep. Lim said, “Jeungpyeong-gun is a young city with the highest population growth rate in the province and the highest birth rate in the province,” and “We will lead Jeungpyeong to 100 years of sustainability by reorganizing the spatial structure densely packed in urban areas.”
