[Mobile Reporter Nam Nan-woo] Sejong City held a communication meeting to respond to common issues being promoted in conjunction with the region, such as the changing educational environment and designation of special educational development zones, and to prepare ways for cooperation.
The meeting, held on the 27th at the city hall, was attended by 25 people, including the Sejong Office of Education, city hall, and principals of kindergartens, elementary, middle, and high schools, and shared city administration issues and policy directions and discussed difficulties and suggestions that school principals face at school. It was conducted in the order of listening.
In addition, opinions were shared on the holding of the 2026 Sejong International Garden City Expo and the current status of the education expense support project.

Mayor Choi Min-ho said, “When hosting the International Garden City Expo, we ask for the active cooperation of school principals so that it can be an opportunity to present positive examples to the local community, such as utilizing and connecting green spaces within schools.” “Let’s not forget that we are partners and work together to nurture great talent that will lead Sejong’s future,” he said.
