0 Midfielder Declan Rice has pledged that England will do everything possible to restore the reputation of manager Gareth Southgate following the Three Lions’ lackluster performances at Euro 2024.

Their underwhelming form continued in the round of 16 game against Slovakia, where they trailed until injury time. Jude Bellingham answered the urgent call with an unexpected scissor kick to equalise, sending the game into extra time.
Harry Kane sealed the victory in the first minute of extra time, securing a quarter-final tie against Switzerland.
Rice, a consistent presence in England’s lineup, stood by the manager following the dramatic win.
“We’ve got a togetherness, we proved that tonight,” Rice told BBC Sport. “We’d do anything to protect this manager, protect each other. We’ll keep going and keep fighting, and what we’ve got as a group showed out there. It’s an honor to be a part of it, and we’re going to give it everything.”
