Crawley Town have signed Ghanaian international goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott from Hibernian on a permanent transfer.

The 27-year-old has agreed to a two-year deal with the Reds after spending one season with the Edinburgh club.

Wollacott, who becomes manager Scott Lindsey’s ninth summer signing since Crawley’s promotion to League One, shared his thoughts on the move.

“Unfortunately, last season did not work out for me, so I was looking for a solution,” he told the club’s website. “I know Scott well from my time at Swindon, and I really enjoyed working with him, so this seemed like a great fit.”

Wollacott’s career includes a loan spell at Swindon from Bristol City in 2021, which turned into a permanent move that summer. He made 41 appearances for Swindon before moving to Charlton Athletic in 2022.

Last year, he joined Hibs but managed only eight appearances due to an injury-hit season. Wollacott also boasts 11 international caps for Ghana.
