Dongducheon, which has the highest percentage of voters in the Dongducheon, Yangju and Yeoncheon constituencies, is where Democratic Party candidate Jae-myung Lee won by 3.6% in the last presidential election.
Previously, a mayor affiliated with the Democratic Party was in power for a long time for 15 years.
