0 Mrs. Elsie Appeadu, Managing Director of Delft Imaging, has been recognised among the 100 Most Influential People Awards (MIPA) 2024 for her exceptional leadership and contributions to healthcare in Ghana.
Delft Imaging has installed 54 EasyDR digital AI-integrated X-ray systems nationwide under her guidance, improving Tuberculosis (TB) case detection.
Her leadership extends to establishing coding clubs in basic schools and spearheading impactful CSR initiatives in partnership with organizations like GIZ and DeveloPPP.
Beyond her work in Ghana, Mrs. Appeadu oversees the training, installation, and maintenance of digital imaging equipment in over 75 countries.
She is leading efforts to establish a cutting-edge diagnostic centre in Accra, equipped with Delft Imaging’s AI-integrated X-ray systems, to offer reliable medical imaging services.
In 2016, Delft Imaging received the “Accrediting TB Case Detection” award from the Dutch Enterprise Agency (now part of Invest International), highlighting the company’s dedication to combating TB through innovative solutions.
The prestigious awards ceremony, organized by the Business Executive Group at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, celebrated individuals who have significantly impacted Ghana’s social, economic, and cultural life. Attendees included government officials, diplomats, and other distinguished guests.
Expressing her gratitude, Mrs Appeadu credited her CEO and the Delft Imaging team for their unwavering support.
“This recognition is a confidence booster for greatness ahead. We are committed to providing the best medical imaging equipment and ensuring their maintenance. This is a big win for us all,” she said with pride.
