Adeline Baidoo, a gospel musician and lecturer at Accra Technical University, has shared her remarkable story of overcoming adversity to inspire others.
Born in Asuoabena-Nkwarteng in the Eastern Region, Adeline endured a difficult childhood marked by parental absence and maltreatment.
Despite these challenges, she remained resolute. “During tough times, I survived on a single meal every three days and endured maltreatment, yet I held on to my faith,” she recalled.
Her resilience paid off as she excelled academically, earning a Teacher’s Certificate ‘A’, a Master’s Degree, and is now pursuing a PhD in Arts and Culture. Adeline’s career spans teaching at all levels, showcasing her passion for shaping lives.
Her gospel music career began in 2008 with albums such as Awuradze Agye Me and hits like M’abre Pen. Her music, rooted in her life experiences, resonates deeply with audiences.
Adeline is also a champion for women’s empowerment, founding the Ghana Women Forum to inspire women to overcome challenges. “We aim to inspire women to achieve their potential,” she said.
Reflecting on her journey, she added, “God has turned my trials into testimonies. I use my story to counsel women that no matter what they face, they can overcome.”
