Remarkably, the 21-year-old did not only show his prowess but has gotten his name into the history books of both Chelsea and the Premier League.

Here are seven impressive records te England international has made for himself.

Back-to-back home hattricks in a single season

Cole Palmer makes history as the first Chelsea player to score Premier League hat-tricks in consecutive home games within a single season. While Didier Drogba achieved consecutive home hat-tricks, they occurred across two seasons: one at the end of the 2009/10 season and the other at the beginning of the 2010/2011 season.

On target in seven consecutive home games

Cole Palmer has etched his name in Chelsea’s history books as the first player ever to score in seven consecutive Premier League appearances at Stamford Bridge. Prior to this feat, he shared the record of six consecutive home matches with legends Didier Drogba and Eidur Gudjohnsen, now leaving them in his dust.

Fastest Chelsea hattrick

Palmer wasted no time in making history for Chelsea, as he swiftly completed his hat-trick against Everton. After scoring the opening goal in the 13th minute, he doubled Chelsea’s lead just five minutes later to make it 2-0. His remarkable feat was sealed with a long-range effort in the 29th minute, marking the fastest hat-trick ever recorded for Chelsea in the Premier League.

Premier League’s quickest perfect hattrick

Palmer’s second goal was a header, following his initial strike with his left foot. He completed his hat-trick with a shot from range, using his weaker right foot to loop the ball over Jordan Pickford after the Everton goalkeeper inadvertently passed it to him. The precision of the shot was remarkable, as it dropped just under the crossbar into the back of the net. Notably, this achievement constituted a perfect hat-trick, with goals scored using his left foot, head, and right foot. It marked Chelsea’s first perfect hat-trick in the Premier League since Christian Pulisic achieved the feat against Burnley in October 2019. Remarkably, it stands as the quickest perfect hat-trick in the history of the Premier League.

First Chelsea 20-goal mark in seven years

Cole Palmer has become the first Chelsea player to score 20 Premier League goals since Diego Costa achieved the feat in the 2016/17 season. Prior to Palmer’s accomplishment, the last players to score more than 20 goals for Chelsea in a single league season were Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard in the 2009/10 season, with Drogba netting 29 goals and Lampard scoring 22.

First Chelsea haul in 14 years.

Cole Palmer’s achievement of scoring four goals in a single Premier League game marks a significant milestone for Chelsea. He becomes the first Chelsea player to accomplish this feat since Frank Lampard achieved it in March 2010. In the history of the Premier League, Palmer joins an exclusive club of Chelsea players who have scored four goals in a single match, which includes Lampard (twice), Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, and Gianluca Vialli.

Superb penalty conversion rate

With a perfect record of nine out of nine penalties scored, Cole Palmer now ranks as the second most successful penalty taker in a Premier League season in terms of maintaining a 100% conversion rate. He follows behind Yaya Toure, who holds the record with 11 successful penalties out of 11 attempts.

Most penalties taken while maintaining a 100% record in Premier League history:

◎ 11/11 – Yaya Touré
◉ 9/9 – Cole Palmer
◎ 9/9 – Dimitar Berbatov

That’s why he took the ball off them.
