[Mobile Reporter Kim Soo-mi] The Public Procurement Service and the Public Service Procurement Service of Canada signed a business agreement for mutual cooperation in the field of government procurement at KINTEX in Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do on the 16th.
Through this agreement, the two countries agreed to share public procurement-related information, including new growth areas and electronic procurement systems, and to strengthen cooperation in public procurement policies that consider innovation, society, and the environment.
This agreement was reached following a bilateral meeting held at the Nara Market Expo last year.
Through the last bilateral meeting, the two countries formed a consensus on areas where mutual cooperation is possible, such as electronic procurement systems and innovative procurement systems, and agreed to cooperate with each other through mutual visits by high-level officials and continuous working-level Discussions over the next year.
