In a heartwarming act of community support, Eric Effah, CEO of Community Smile Foundation, led a donation drive to the Kobreso Health Centre in the Offinso North Constituency, Ashanti Region, on February 15, 2025.
The event saw the presence of chiefs, opinion leaders, residents, and healthcare staff, all gathered to witness this first-of-its-kind gesture from the foundation. The donated items included essential medicines and medical supplies, aimed at improving healthcare delivery in the area.
Receiving the items on behalf of the facility, Dr. Joel Brefo, Midwifery Officer Randy Essandoh, and the nurses and staff of the clinic expressed their deep appreciation for the support. They noted that these supplies would significantly enhance healthcare services for the people of Kobreso and its surrounding communities.
Community members were overjoyed and took the opportunity to voice their challenges in accessing healthcare, urging Mr. Effah and his foundation to continue supporting them.
