Ghanaian theatre production house, Scribe Productions, has launched its 10th anniversary celebrations.
This happened on Thursday, February 13 at the University of Ghana.
Scribe’s first play, This Family Is Not For Sale, was staged on the Valentine weekend of 2015.
The production house has gone on to put up amazing content for its audience year after year.
Under the theme ‘A decade of impacting society through storytelling’, Scribe reflected on its journey over the last decade and its impact stories.
The event also highlighted some social projects the production house intends to embark on in the months ahead.
Scribe Productions is known for its authentic stories which have transformed the lives of many Ghanaians.
Some of its plays include I Want To Sue God!, Once Upon A Riddle, The Boy Called A Girl, and In The Pants Of A Woman.
Speaking at the launch, Ghanaian actor and producer Fiifi Coleman noted in his keynote address that stories have the power to transform lives.
He illustrated how some of his plays such as The Slaves and Still A Rose have made an indelible impact on his audience.
Scribe Productions is preparing for its new original musical this Easter. The musical is a one cast performance.
