The Korea Tourism Organization signed a business agreement with KKday Co., Ltd. on the 23rd at the Korea Press Center to attract visitors to Korea by discovering new K-tourism contents.
KKday is a global free travel e-commerce platform that provides transportation passes, admission tickets, and activities to 550 cities in 92 countries and more than 300,000 local tours, and is Asia’s leading travel platform with 9 million monthly active users.
This agreement was prepared to discover and nurture K-tourism contents with marketability and timeliness centered on the ‘Tourism Content Strategy Headquarters’ newly established in the corporation this year.
In particular, using the tourism sector data held by both companies, they plan to collaborate from the stage of discovering local tourism contents to attract tourists to the region.
Yoo Jin-ho, head of the Tourism Content Strategy Division of the Corporation, said, “It is expected that we will be able to quickly identify the needs of foreign tourists through the agreement with KKday” and “The Corporation will strive to provide new travel experiences and create new tourism demand by discovering K-tourism contents that will promote the charm of every corner of Korea.”
