Black Stars forward Christopher Bonsu Baah is expected to leave Ghana on Tuesday for Belgium ahead of completing his move to Saudi Pro League side Al Qadsiah.
Genk have accepted a bid in the region €16.2m for Bonsu Baah as they prepare to cash in on the pacy winger this summer.
The 20-year-old will sign a four-year deal with the Saudi Arabian side with the option to extend for another year.
Bonsu Baah’s medical is scheduled for Friday, June 27, in Madrid before discussing the last details of the long-term contract and putting pen to paper.
After the medical, the Ghanaian will join his new team in the Netherlands for pre-season before eventually heading to Saudi Arabia for the 2025/26 season.
Since arriving in Genk in 2023 Norwegian side Sarpsborg, the left-footed attacker made 90 appearances across all competitions, scoring five goals and providing seven assists.
The winger only made his debut for the Black Stars during the Unity Cup in London last month, impressing many with his performances in the games against Nigeria and Trinidad and Tobago.
Bonsu Baah was being courted by Premier League newcomers Sunderland ahead of the new season, but the player and his entourage preferred a move to Saudi Arabia with the hope of making a return to Europe later.
