In the sphere of media practice, some voices do more than report the news; some have transcended the everyday storytelling to become the story.
One such person is Prophet Samuel Nana Yaw Owusu Sarfoh: broadcaster, evangelist, entrepreneur, and mentor.
His story is not just about radio, it’s about redemption, responsibility, and a relentless drive to make a difference.
From the moment he first sat behind a microphone, Samuel Nana Yaw Owusu Sarfoh commanded attention.
More than a presenter, he became a trusted voice known for sharp investigative reporting, powerful interviews, and a magnetic on-air presence.
His roles at Fox FM, Mercury FM, and later Vision 1 FM saw him shape political discourse and social commentary through the lens of bold, balanced journalism.
At Fox FM, he led the morning show with precision, booking top guests, taking listener calls, and breaking down complex issues for the average Ghanaian.
At Mercury FM, he ran daily operations, refining programming that resonated with a growing audience.
Prophet Sarfoh’s accolades speak volumes. He was crowned Best Morning Show Host, Ashanti Region in 2012 and 2013, but at a point, he decided to make a giant leap to Accra.
While in Accra, he extended his dominance to the Greater Accra Region to become the Best Mid-Morning Show Host three years in a row from 2016 through to 2017, and 2018.
That same year, his spiritual influence was recognized nationally as he was named Best Gospel Show Host in Ghana.
While many might rest on their laurels, Prophet Sarfoh saw a bigger mission. In 2020, he became CEO of Jascos Group of Companies, leading business strategy with a focus on long-term impact.
From building strong teams to aligning business operations with purpose, he brought the same energy and foresight that had made him a media icon.
His commitment to education took form through Samjet Media Institute, where from 2015 to 2020, he trained and mentored the next generation of Ghanaian broadcasters.
Here, future storytellers learned not just technical skills but the value of integrity, clarity, and service.
Between 2021 and 2022, Prophet Sarfoh served as Programmes Manager at Kingdom Plus FM, overseeing content planning, quality assurance, and strategic direction.
Before that, his tenure at Vision 1 FM reinforced his reputation for excellence in broadcast management, balancing creativity with structure, and ensuring spiritual, social, and political content had depth and relevance.
On July 15, 2017, Prophet Sarfoh answered a higher call. As a preacher, he transitioned into full-time ministry, sharing the word of God through radio and in-person ministry.
With deep insight into scripture and a gift for connecting with people from all walks of life, he became a beacon for the broken-hearted and a voice of hope for the discouraged.
Today, he serves as Head Pastor of The Word of Truth and Prayers Ministry, Circle Branch in Accra, combining biblical teaching with community outreach.
His radio ministry, particularly through programmes like “Yasetenam” on Asempa FM, “Adom Mmre” on Adom TV, and “Adom Live Worship” on Adom FM, continues to uplift and challenge listeners daily. These platforms are his pulpit; his listeners, his congregation.
On April 16, 2022, Prophet Nana Yaw Sarfoh joined Asempa FM as the host of Yasetenam, a socio-religious mid-morning programme.
Here, he bridges the worlds of faith and public discourse, tackling real issues with a Christ-centred approach.
His dual role on Adom TV and Adom FM further affirms his mission: to revive, reposition, and ready God’s people for the return of Jesus Christ.
From controlling radio dials to commanding pulpits, Prophet Samuel Nana Yaw Owusu Sarfoh is a man driven by vision, faith, and an unwavering passion for people.
He is not just a broadcaster, not just a pastor, not just a CEO; he is a servant leader, transforming every platform he touches.
His story is one of divine orchestration, where every mic, meeting, and message is part of a greater mission. And if his journey so far is anything to go by, the next chapter promises even more impact.
