Ghana midfielder Jeffrey Schlupp has missed out on winning Crystal Palace’s Goal of the Season Award to Eberechi Eze.

Eze’s goal in Palace’s shock 1-0 win over Liverpool at Anfield was voted as the Goal of the Season at Crystal Palace’s End of Season Awards.

England international, Eze, finished off a brilliant team move that had Palace control possession before carving Liverpool’s backline open for the goal that has sparked Palace’s five game unbeaten run.

That run includes Palace’s 1-1 draw with Fulham at Craven Cottage with Schlupp scoring the equalizer in emphatic style as he smashed the ball into the roof of the net in the 86th minute.

The brilliant strike was nominated for English Premier League Goal of the Month Award in April; the goal is Schlupp’s second for the 2023-2024 season at the time of publication.
