0 Michael Akwasi Aidoo, who represents the people of Oforikrom Constituency in the Ashanti Region, is one of the youngest MPs in the 9th Parliament of the Fourth Republic who is determined to work hard as a legislator to champion the hopes and aspirations of his constituents.
Since 2016, the young man has nurtured the ambition to lead his people at the highest level of the country’s governance.
Until his election as the MP for Oforikrom Constituency, Michael Akwasi Aidoo, was the Pricing Manager at the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation (BOST) in Accra.
Speaking On Ghanakoma morning show on Akoma 87.9fm in Kumasi with Sir John on January 14, Mr Aidoo promised to remain dedicated to addressing the pressing concerns of his constituents and the nation.
He emphasised the profound responsibility lawmakers carry to honor the sacrifices of their constituents.
He highlighted unwavering support many people in Oforikrom Constituency have shown to him , even risking their lives to defend him.
“I’m a role model. The lives of so many people depend on me. I will not fail them. This is what touches my heart,” he stated.
He said even though the NPP is in opposition, they will not relent in their duties to bring development to their Constituencies.
