Members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Nadowli-Kaleo Constituency of the Upper West Region have been urged to forge unity and reconciliation among themselves.

This is contained in a statement signed by Eric Dakurah Faanuba, a loyal comrade of the party, and copied to 3news.com.

“Let us remind ourselves that political parties thrive on unity, mutual respect, and a shared vision,” the statement said.

He said the party acknowledges its rich legacy in the constituency and the nation at large.

While acknowledging the internal divisions and disunity that have plagued the party in recent times, it says, “the future of the NDC in Nadowli-Kaleo depends on the choices we make today”.

Mr Dakurah stressed that the divisions, if left unresolved, threaten the party’s collective strength, electoral fortunes, and ability to deliver on its ideals of probity, accountability, and development.

To address this, he called on all stakeholders, including elders, leaders, grassroots members, and youth of the party, to come together in true reconciliation.

“The time has come for us to bury our differences, heal old wounds, and rekindle the spirit of togetherness that once made us formidable”, he urged.

The statement emphasized the need for open dialogue, a genuine commitment to peace, and a focus on the collective interest of the party over individual aspirations.
