Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, a former chairman of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and current board member of Hearts of Oak, has made serious allegations of corruption within the Ghana Premier League.

In an interview with Graphic Sports, Nyaho-Tamakloe claimed to have substantial evidence implicating club officials involved in bribery and other unethical practices to manipulate match outcomes.

He stated he is compiling a comprehensive dossier with documents and photographs to support his claims.

“I’m deeply going into some of our past Premier League matches and I will expose some of them publicly with documents and pictures to support my argument,” he said.

Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe provided specific examples of alleged manipulation, including claims of officials offering bribes to players to influence their performance.

“Players have openly declared how they have been influenced with cars by managers of different clubs just to play foul for their own team,” he added.

He urged current football administrators to learn from these past wrongdoings and avoid resorting to corrupt practices in their pursuit of success.

Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe’s Hearts of Oak survived relegation on the final day of the recently concluded Ghana Premier League season while Samartex were crowned champions for the first time.
