[Mobile Reporter Cha Bu-eop] The Gyeonggi Sea Drone Festival, where the swarm flight of about 1,500 drones will be demonstrated, will be held in the Bangameori Beach area of Daebu Island in August.
This is because it was selected for the ‘Gyeonggi Sea Drone Festival’ contest hosted by Gyeonggi Province.
Ansan City announced on the 10th that the ‘Gyeonggi Sea Drone Festival’ will be held in the Bangameori Beach area of Daebudo Island for three days from August 16th to 18th.
Daebudo Bangameori Beach was selected as the final destination of the Gyeonggi-do contest, receiving high evaluations for its suitability for drone flight, accessibility for tourists, and cooperation in linking local culture and arts.
The Gyeonggi Sea Drone Festival will feature a variety of participatory programs such as △1,500 drone swarm flights and light shows, △drone flight experience, and △drone sports.
In addition, we plan to provide a wealth of things to see and enjoy to tourists visiting Bangameori Beach through pre-events such as cultural and artistic performances such as Cultural History and Sunset Concert and busking against the backdrop of the sunset of the West Sea.
Ansan Mayor Lee Min-geun said, “We expect that this festival, held in the summer, will be a catalyst for promoting Daebudo Bangameori Beach, a representative resort in the metropolitan area, and revitalizing the commercial district.”
Mayor Lee added, “We will continue to focus on increasing the vitality of Ansan’s tourism by strengthening experiential tourism content on Daebu Island.”
